Master Terry Crane
Master Terry Crane, 4th Dan
Master Terry Bradford-Crane began her TaeRyong Taekwondo (TRTKD) journey in Camarillo, CA in 2006, where she won several sparring and forms medals at state and national competitions. Six months prior to earning her 1st Dan belt in 2008, she moved away from Ventura County but traveled back to Camarillo regularly for two years to continue to train and compete as a member of the TRTKD team. Because all four of her children were taekwondo students, she often jokes she wasn’t a “soccer mom”, but rather a stay-at-home “taekwondo mom” that loved to spar!
For eight years work and family adventures precluded her from training at the TRTKD studios. During her eight years away from TRTKD, she spent some time as a student of and volunteer taekwondo instructor for a master that specialized in self-defense and ITF Chang Hon Poomsae patterns and techniques. Master Crane integrated taekwondo tenets and lessons into her home school curriculum to teach discipline, the benefits of physical wellness, conflict resolution from a position of mental and physical power, and appreciation of the histories, wonders, and values of various cultures. In 2018, she rejoined the TRTKD family in Washington to continue her fitness goals through taekwondo and to be a volunteer instructor at TaeRyong Taekwondo – WA for her former Camarillo dojang sparring partner, Master Kelly Rogers.
Outside of taekwondo, Master Crane is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy and a former EA-6B Prowler naval flight officer. She has an MBA from California Lutheran University and was an adjunct professor for the CLU School of Management. She is a CFP® professional, a guest speaker, and has served on several boards and in many non-profit community organizations. Additionally, she is co-founder and owner of an aviation experimental flight test and evaluation company.
Master Crane is an educator and encourager with a passion for learning and teaching. As a TaeRyong Taekwondo master practitioner, it is her desire to encourage others to be able to defend themselves and the ones they love, stay fit, move through the world with integrity, be open to learning, and share knowledge and wisdom for the benefit of themselves and their communities.
