Tae Ryong Taekwondo School – Newbury Park is our FIRST Taekwondo School with spectators in mind. We know that it takes TEAMWORK and FAMILY to succeed so we wanted to be sure that not only are the students given then best training facility, equipment and instruction but that their supporters, friends and family are comfortable and engaged in the process as well!

Grand Master Shin has wanted to have a school in Newbury Park for over 10 years! Those of us who know him realize that ANYTHING he sets his mind to, he will achieve. Finally, we are here and ready to bring this community to whole other level!

Located in the Albertson’s Shopping Center on Reino Rd., Tae Ryong Taekwondo School is the perfect spot to start your Martial Arts and fitness revolution!

Kids - Little Dragons

4-6 years old

This is our “Pre-K” into the regular Taekwondo program. The Little Dragon’s mission is Character Development and building a positive Teacher – Student relationship.

Kids - Tae Ryong

7-12 years old

Along with self-defense techniques, Taekwondo students have daily training in Courtesy, Integrity, Self-control, Perseverence, and Indomitable Spirit.

Adult - Traditional TKD

Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art that not only teaches physical fighting skills, but also disciplines the mind and body.

It is a competitive Olympic sport.

Sparring Class

Sparring is the application of techniques in a sport simulation with a partner. This allows the student or player to strategize with their abilities and grow confident in defending themselves.
