STudent spotlight: sema geller

Sticks and stones may brake some bones, but Sema never gives up!
To say this lady is “tough” is such an understatement. Mother of 2 Taekwondo kids, Kai (Leadership Green) and Sophie (2nd Yellow), Sema lead by example by committing to her Black Belt program and training every morning at Tae Ryong with a group of likeminded ladies!

As soon as she got her yellow belt she entered the competition ring and earned a Gold medal at the 40th TR CUP!
Want to know how to make 2024 a Golden one for yourself? Come kick it with Sema!

Here's 3 Q's for Sema Geller

1) What interested you in joining Tae Ryong Taekwondo School?

When my kids started classes at Tae Ryong, I met a lot of other parents who took classes themselves. Since I was a kid I had always wanted to try taekwondo, so this was a great opportunity to pursue my interest and join this wonderful community.

2) How has it changed you life?

Joining Tae Ryong was a big improvement for me. After I had our two kids, I wasn't really working out. Now I work out on a consistent basis (other than when I have broken bones, LOL). It helps me stay in shape and gives me great energy overall.

3) Knowing what you know now, what advise would you give to anyone not with Tae Ryong?

It's never too late to start something new. In my case, that was starting taekwondo and staying physically active. Tae Ryong is a great way to make new friends and to keep learning, and growing.
